Feathered Desert Runner by Nightblue-art Feathered Desert Runner by Nightblue-art
Thumbnail on the top left and character design by JakkaS. Rendering by me.

This is done for Creature of the Week Challenge on conceptart.org. The challenge is to develop a thumbnail by anybody from the previous entry into a full-blown creature art. I chose JakkaS' entry because he is a fantastic creature artist with fantastic imagination and equally fantastic rendering skills.

I used the round brush for the most part, and a spray painting brush for the dust.

Thanks for the compliments! I'll try painter again at some point. I have seen some fantastic works done with it.
